Book Reflections

This week's Mega-Prompt - A Bug's Life

These book reflections are literature based prompts that use books as writing springboards. This platform propels young authors into a wide range of potential topics.

These prompts provide a wonderful way for young students to improve their composition skills while at the same time encouraging a love for the reading of great books.

In times gone by, aspiring artists studied under the tutelage of great master painters. This same general principle can be applied to the teaching of writing. The titles and authors recommended on these pages will serve to inspire young students with new and innovative ideas while exposing them to classic works of literature.

Each of the pages linked to this section offer a particular book (or books) that will naturally springboard young writers into a whole new world of creative ideas and potential writing topics.
