Embarrassing Moments
We've all had a few of those embarrassing moments in life that turn your face a few shades of red, and make you wonder if you'll ever again be able to regain your pride. I've had more than my share, but will pick just one to share with the whole world... Coach Hart
Along time ago....
... shortly after I was married, my wife and I were walking together (with a lot of other people) out of a very crowded water park. Momentarily distracted trying to make my way through the crowd, I stopped for just a second. When I started walking again, I naturally reached out and put an arm around my wife's waist, giving her a little hug. Imagine my embarrassment upon realizing that the girl next to me was not my wife, but some stranger. I could have died! You should have seen the blushing look on the other girl's face, not to mention the teasing I got from my wife. The one nice thing about this particular moment was the fact that it happened when I was surrounded by strangers.
So now it's your turn.
The first step in overcoming shame is to publicly reveal your stupidity. Everyone has times in life where they would really like to rewind the clock. Fortunately that's not possible so we just need to roll with the punches and learn to laugh at ourselves. It's been said that "laughter is the best medicine". So when you give people a funny story to laugh about, you're making the world a better place.
Let's hear it!
