BabySitting Memories

Everyone has some babysitting memories(either as the one being tended, or as the one in charge). Crazy things happen when mom and dad, (or the teacher) is gone for a day. Perhaps it’s time to clear the air and your conscience by going public.

Getting a babysitter is kind of like having a substitute teacher. Common sense tells you that chances are very good they will let you get away with a little more than mom, dad, (or the teacher). After all, any bad experience they report is, in reality, a negative reflection on their own job performance. This means that those in charge will probably think twice about calling them back.

So Let’s hear it. What are you hoping that your kids won’t learn, about your own childhood behavior? Rest assured, we’ll protect your true identity. Otherwise, at some future time when you’re walking out the door and you stop and say to the person you in charge, “Let me know if there’s a problem. I’ll be sure to take care of it when we get back”! Your kids (and the babysitter) will be thinking, “Ya right”!
