Snow Fun

Snow Fun is what happens when kids are given a chance to play outside on a soft, white blanket laid down by mother nature.

Nothing is more inviting to people of all ages than a layer of freshly fallen crystals of white. Share some of your memories about playing in a winter, wonderland.

Children dream of huge blizzards dumping 3 feet of the white stuff, or more, on their home town. With school canceled, they would then be free to play.

What kinds of things could be done with this much snow? Tell of experiences you've had with this kind of weather. What is your favorite winter activity? Are you one of those people who heads for the ski slopes? If so, tell about your experiences there?

Word Bank - winter storms; drifts; sledding; skiing; snowboarding; snowsuits; Christmas; white blanket; hot chocolate; mittens; snow angels; fox and geese; sleigh rides; snowmobiles; boots; weather forecast; blizzards; avalanche; reindeer; polar bears
