Persuasive Letter to Parents

Your job is to write a persuasive letter to your parents. Here's the situation. You want something really bad... but mom and dad are not so sure about it. There are many things that may fit into this category: gun, motorcycle, cell phone, iPod, game player, etc..

Your challenge is to use your best, most persuasive writing skills to convince your parents that this is something that you should be allowed to have.

Write a letter that will soften the hearts of your parents and persuade them to grant you the wish of your dreams. Remember to look at the situation from their perspective. Try to address the concerns they may have in a positive and understanding manner. Use language that is respectful. Support your argument with logical reasons and good examples.
