To Serve and Protect
Many people are hired to serve and protect the public in emergency situations. This would include firefighters, policemen (and women), along with trained medical technicians. They put themselves in harm's way on a regular basis to help keep the rest of us safe.Tell about an experience you (or someone you know) have had with emergency service personnel. Share your thoughts about how the service they provide to our community makes you feel. Share your thoughts on the personal characteristics that are needed by those who become involved with this line of work? How would you like this kind of work? What are some of the challenges faced by people who work in these kind of professions?
